Fes medina · Morocco · 3 hours on foot

Fes,
walked by locals.

Souks, artisan workshops, the Al-Qarawiyyin quarter and the Chouara tanneries — with a licensed local guide who lives here.

Why this tour

Discover the authentic Fes medina — away from the usual tourist route.

We're a friendly team of licensed local guides, fluent in English and Italian. In three unhurried hours we take you through the lively streets, hidden alleys, local markets and artisan quarters of Fes el-Bali — the UNESCO World Heritage medina — the way we'd take a friend. Many stops, an easy walking pace, time to take photos and ask questions. You will have amazing memories.

Before you ask

Questions people actually ask us.

Anything else — kids, mobility, dietary stops, a specific craft you want to see — just message us. A human answers, not a bot.

Do I need to book in advance?
It's recommended, especially April–May and September–October. Message us on WhatsApp with your date and we'll confirm availability, usually within the hour.
Is this walk suitable for kids?
Yes — the pace is gentle and stops are seated where possible. The medina is uneven underfoot in places, so a stroller isn't practical; a carrier works better for toddlers.
What should I wear?
Comfortable closed-toe shoes — the medina is cobbled and occasionally steep. Shoulders and knees covered is respectful in the old city, and is what your guide will be wearing too.
